Director's Choice

Presented by Pacific Northwest Ballet

TAKE FIVE… More or Less, Broadway-darling Susan Stroman’s sunny slice of jazz-infused Dave Brubeck fun joins Kiss, a performance art/dance/aerial duet that stands alone in its distinctiveness. Molissa Fenley’s State of Darkness, choreographed to Stravinsky’s riot-inducing The Rite of Spring, is a tour-de-force solo performance for either a male or female dancers (Peter Boal was one of the first to dance it). The much-anticipated new arrival by Alejandro Cerrudo compliments a Rudolf Nureyev Prize for New Dance. Cerrudo’s work “...enthrall audiences all over the world…” (Huffington Post).
