Prelude Restaurant, operated by SAVOR…, is a 188-seat full-service restaurant, conveniently located on the south end of the entry level lobby.
"We visited Prelude last Saturday prior to the performance of Cinderella. It was one of those magical nights. A true date night for my husband and me where everything was good and fun. Cinderella was a delight. Cudos to the costume manager, staging director and production team! We truly enjoyed the six dancing rats. For our meal at Prelude, I had the pan seared cod with a kalamata caramel. It was gently cooked,served with brown butter parsnips and sections of a blood orange. A very innovative presentation and delectable! My husband chose the braised short ribs with whipped potatoes and lovely steamed haricots vertes. He gave me a taste. Executive Chef Shawn Applin creates and executes Prelude’s seasonal menus focused on fresh, local ingredients, complemented by a premium selection of wines by the glass and half or full bottle. In addition to a range of appetizers, dinner entrées and desserts for evening performances, Prelude serves a fantastic brunch prior to matinee performances.
Prelude also offers the option to pre-order for the intermission. From dessert and champagne, to a full multiple course meal, Prelude provides full meal service during the intermission by having your full order prepared, on the table, and waiting for you when you arrive.
Prelude opens 2.5 hours prior to Opera performances and 2 hours prior to Ballet performances.
