Retired General of the United States Army

Come share an evening with General Wesley Clark.  After 34 years in the U.S. Army, Wesley Clark rose to the rank of four-star general and was named director for strategic plans and policy of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.  As Supreme Allied Commander and Commander in Chief of the U.S. European Command, Clark commanded Operation Allied Force, NATO’s first major combat action, which saved 1.5 million Albanians from ethnic cleansing in Kosovo.  Clark, a West Point Rhodes Scolar and Recipient of the Presidental Medal of Freedom, joined the 2004 race for the Democractic Party Presidential Nomination as a candidate in 2003, but withdrew from the primary race in 2004, after winning the Oklahoma State primary and eventually endorsed Senator Hillary Clinton.

Clark and his wife, Gert, live in Little Rock, Arkansas.  They have one son, Wesley.  A frequent commentator for CNN, he is the author of the best-selling “Waging Modern War:  Bosnia, Kosovo and the future of Combat” and “Winning Modern Wars”.  Don’t miss a riveting evening with this remarkable hero and leader.
